“Detaching Is Just as Important as Immersing,” Sreeleela on Finding Balance Between Roles
Sreeleela is the undeniable buzz girl of the moment, lighting up conversations across industries and audiences alike. With her infectious energy, expressive performances, and effortless charm, she has quickly become a favorite among fans and filmmakers. Beyond the screen, her dedication is equally inspiring as she recently achieved a major personal milestone by earning her MBBS degree, proving that her discipline extends far beyond cinema.
As her career gains momentum, Sreeleela continues to take on vastly different roles, each demanding a unique emotional landscape. When asked how she manages to constantly switch between such contrasting characters, she offered a thoughtful glimpse into her process. She explained that while immersing herself in a role is crucial, learning to detach is equally important for her well-being.
“I have realized that detaching is just as important as immersing,” she shared. “So I try to build tiny rituals, whether it is music or alone time or sometimes video call with family, and conversations with friends. And that is how I keep myself aware. I try not to take it back home and if I do, then these things help me. But sometimes I think you just cope with it and deal with it.” she said, acknowledging the emotional weight that sometimes lingers after intense performances.
Looking ahead, Sreeleela’s journey shows no signs of slowing down. She will next be seen alongside Dhanush in D55 and will be debuting in Bollywood with Anurag Basu’s musical drama, further cementing her place as one of the most dynamic young talents to watch.
