On his Birthday, Shah Rukh Khan Shows the World How to Love Like a KING with ‘Tu Mil Jaaye’, the First Song from His Upcoming Film – Blending Romance, Action and His Dehshat, Featuring Deepika Padukone in a Global Pop Collaboration Between Arijit Singh and Ed Sheeran

There couldn’t be a better birthday surprise for Shah Rukh Khan’s fans! The superstar has unveiled ‘Tu Mil Jaaye’, the first song from his upcoming action entertainer KING, and it brings together some exciting names from the worlds of music and cinema. With an unprecedented global music collaboration featuring Arijit Singh’s glorious vocals and Ed Sheeran’s distinct rap style, the song reunites the much-loved on-screen pairing of Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone.

Giving audiences an exciting glimpse into the world of KING, the music video opens with Shah Rukh Khan’s dialogue, “Main qaatil nahi, aashiq hoon, aur nishana meri mashooka, aur woh aashiq hi kya jo dil cheer na de”, immediately setting the tone for his character. What follows is a peppy romantic dance track that brings Bollywood’s much-loved Arijit Singh together with global pop sensation Ed Sheeran, creating a musical collaboration that bridges two worlds, with Madhubanti Bagchi adding her magical touch.

Blending romance, action and dehshat, the song introduces audiences to a new side of KING, revealing the many shades of the film beyond its music.

Composed by Sachin-Jigar, with lyrics by Kumaar, choreography by Piyush-Shazia and an English rap penned by Ed Sheeran, ‘Tu Mil Jaaye’ showcases a range of creative talents. The video closes with another powerful dialogue by SRK, “Iss baar dil mein aag lagi hai, ab duniya jalaye bina manega nahi”, bringing the focus back to the aura and intensity that defines KING.

Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s on-screen chemistry has been a favourite with audiences, and ‘Tu Mil Jaaye’ brings back that familiar magic through romantic moments and grand visuals.
