Mumbai, 26 June 2026-Indian cinema is set to witness one of its most emotional and memorable celebrations as legendary actress and cultural icon Hema Malini marks her Diamond Jubilee in Cinema with a spectacular live event titled “Hema Malini – Live in Concert-Celebrating the Dream Girl’s Diamond Jubilee 60 Glorious Years in Cinema” on 10th July 2026 at Mumbai’s iconic Shanmukhananda Hall.

Conceptualized, written, produced, directed and hosted by renowned radio personality, author and filmmaker RJ Anirudh Chawla, the grand musical extravaganza promises to be a once-in-a-lifetime celebration of one of Indian cinema’s most beloved legends.

A Historic First: Hema Malini Speaks About Her 60-Year Bollywood Journey

For the very first time in her remarkable six-decade career, Hema Malini will personally take audiences through her incredible journey in Indian cinema, sharing untold stories, cherished memories, behind-the-scenes anecdotes and fascinating experiences from her legendary films and timeless songs.

“Hema Malini Ki Kahani, Unki Zubani” will offer audiences a rare and intimate glimpse into the making of a superstar whose legacy spans generations.

The Dream Girl will revisit unforgettable moments from iconic blockbusters including Sholay, Seeta Aur Geeta, Razia Sultan, Baghban, Kranti, Kudrat, Dharmatma, Satte Pe Satta and many more, while reflecting on her collaborations with some of the greatest filmmakers, actors and music composers in Indian cinema.

Accompanying Hema Malini and RJ Anirudh will be a magnificent 15-piece live orchestra and an extraordinary ensemble of celebrated singers, fondly presented as Hemaji’s Nau Ratan, featuring:

Beyond celebrating a cinematic milestone, the event also serves a noble purpose. Organized as a charity musical concert, the show will support two of the industry’s most important organizations — CINTAA (Cine & TV Artists Association) and FWICE (Federation of Western India Cine Employees).

During the event, Hema Malini and RJ Anirudh will present donation cheques totaling ₹10 lakhs to CINTAA President, Poonam Dhillon and FWICE President BN Tiwari, raised through ticket sales, to support the welfare of artists and film industry workers.
