“Playground Ki History Mein Itni Batameezi Nahi Dekhi”: Elvish Yadav Calls Out the Rising Aggression

Playground Season 5 has reached a point where the individual game is no longer just about winning; it is
beginning to test tempers, loyalties and relationships. With teams no longer offering the same shield,
rivalries have intensified and simmering tensions have spilled over. Srishti Parashar being moved out of
the house after falling unwell only added to the unrest, and when Tejasswi Prakash, Elvish Yadav and
Aarush Bhola returned to the house, they made it clear that the line between fierce competition and
unacceptable behaviour had been crossed.

Tejasswi wasted no time putting the spotlight on the players she believed had begun taking their positions
in the game for granted. Calling Chakshdeep Singh, Mannat Kulharia, Hriday and Vikaash Yadav the ‘Top
4’, she turned the title into a stinging indictment of their conduct: “Tum logo ko pata hai tum log top 4 ho
but kisme pata hai maar peeth karne mein logo ko bully karne mein gaalitaan dene mein basically gandh
failane mein tum log top 4 ho.” Elvish Yadav backed the sentiment with a reminder of how far the house
had strayed from what he had witnessed in his previous seasons: “Maine Playground ka Season 3 kara hai
4 kara hai par aaj tak maine Playground ke history mein itni batameezi itni gaali galoch itni jo tum dhakka
mukki karti koi ghatiya harkat karte ho kisiko corner karte hai kisiko bully karte ho maine abhi tak nahi
dekha.”The confrontation took on a more personal edge when the discussion turned to Srishti. With the
contestant moved out of the house, the three mentors stood firmly by her, while Hriday attempted to
defend himself. Tejasswi, however, was unwilling to let the situation be dismissed, calling out the way
Srishti’s trauma had been treated before revealing the emotional investment she has developed in her
contestants: “Woh meri ladki hai aur mein apne har ek contestant ke saath bahot zyaada emotionally
attach ho jaati hoon shayad pheli baar mein mentor bani hu issliye… shayad seekh jaungi ke aisi bhi aate
hai log.” Elvish reminded the players that while everyone has their own trauma, there is a limit to what
can be tolerated, while Aarush brought the conversation back to the ambition they had shown when they
first entered the competition “Tum sab ki shakle kya thi jab audition chal raha tha ke humein yeh karna
hai show jeetna prove karna hai yeh sab karke.”

With the mentors refusing to let the matter slide, Hriday and Vikaash were made to face the housemates’
verdict. The two were allowed to remain in the competition, but the decision came at a steep cost: their
rumbles were wiped out and they were placed on the Hit List for the remainder of the show. The fallout
then extended to the power structure itself, as Aarush stripped Mannat of her captaincy power and
redistributed the rumbles among Prateik Jain, Simran Behl and Madhuja Ghoshal. When Mannat laughed
at the decision, Aarush’s patience wore thin, while Elvish turned his attention to his own team,
questioning why they were celebrating their URL losses and putting captain Simar Sethi on the spot.
The battle for control continued in the next URL Challenge, where the mentors each backed a player. The
winner would gain the power to rescue one player from their team’s Hit List while placing another
contestant from a rival team in their stead. Aarush emerged victorious, saving Madhuja and sending Simar
onto the Hit List.

Then came the Ticket to Finale, with weekly MVPs Mannat, Simar and Rhea Saxena stepping up alongside
their chosen helpers. The three-part challenge tested them across a number board, a wobbly bridge and
math equations, with a direct passage to the Finale on the line. When Tejasswi’s team was asked to go
first, she immediately sensed a deliberate move against her players, protesting, “Dono milke clearly target
kar rahe ho.” The Raging Centaurs finished third, the Power Phoenixes second, while the KO Krakens
clinched the top spot, securing Simar’s Ticket to Finale.
But the individual game had one more twist in store. Vikaash, Hriday, Simran and Riya Kumari found
themselves on the final Hit List, with the house vote deciding which two contestants would see their
journey come to an end. With Elvish away due to an emergency, Aarush made his stance clear and urged
his team to stand by their own, while Mannat refused to turn against her friend. The vote ultimately saved
Vikaash and Simran, sending Riya Kumari and Hriday out of the competition.
Yet the eliminations only opened another front. Tejasswi accused Mannat of flipping the game, Mannat
pushed back against what she saw as a narrative being created around her, and Tejasswi snapped back,
“Mannat ab zyaada ho gaya hai… don’t use the contestant tone with me.” With Hriday furious over the
fallout and Mannat visibly shaken and wanting to leave, the individual game has stripped away whatever
safety the teams once provided. With the Finale drawing closer and loyalties becoming harder to read,
who will stand by whom when every alliance comes with a price?
