Mumbai, India, 1st October 2026: Just when the Workers thought they had a task to focus on, the Tower introduced another twist that turned a fireworks challenge into a test of loyalty, patience and survival. With the Prize Pot up for grabs, the Workers had to ensure their fireworks passed inspection, but there was a catch: if two fireworks were rejected, they would have to decide which Worker was the weakest link and remove one of their own from the game. The first round went through where shehzad rejects one and asks if he is wrong priyanka says “aage chalo shehzad, tumhara footage bahot ho jaata hai beechmien” shehzad gives back saying “Mein footage khaaane ko nahi aaya hu apna kaam karne aaya hu” but the second quickly set off sparks of a different kind when Shehzad Poonawalla rejected Manish Kashyap’s firework. Manish’s frustration brought Tej Pratap Yadav into the argument, and what began as a disagreement over the task soon spiralled into a heated face-off. Tej accused Manish of trying to manoeuvre the situation after his firework was rejected, while Manish hit back at what he perceived as the Rulers mistreating the Workers. The argument soon veered into questions of identity, privilege and power, with Manish calling on Tej to acknowledge the Workers’ efforts and Tej accusing him of bringing politics into the game. With the Ultimate Ruler refusing to back down and Manish making his displeasure known, a new rivalry seemed to be taking shape.

As the task progressed, another twist changed the course of the challenge. When the quality-control officers failed to reach a consensus on the fireworks, the Ultimate Ruler was handed the authority to make the final decision. With three fireworks rejected in the next round, the Workers found themselves facing the very consequence they had hoped to avoid: choosing one contestant to leave. Anish Bhagat even volunteered to step out, but the pressure mounted further when all three fireworks in the next round were rejected after Kajal Raghwani missed the colours. Niharika Tiwari was subsequently chosen to leave, a decision she struggled to accept, triggering a confrontation with Gautam Gulati. Kaira Anu stepped in as tensions escalated, eventually choosing to remove herself from the situation. With every failed round threatening their place in the Tower, the Workers were now battling not just the task but the growing strain within their own ranks.

The subsequent rounds offered some relief, with the fourth seeing three fireworks approved and the fifth finally delivering a clean sweep. But the turnaround came too late to save the Workers’ game. Despite making 36 fireworks, only 20 received approval, costing them precious time and handing the Rulers ₹10 lakh in their pot. The much-anticipated dhamaka had fizzled out, with the Rulers winning the first Prize Pot task and missing the opportunity to claim the first Takhta Palat. The money gap now stood at ₹38 lakh for the Rulers against just ₹3.25 lakh for the Workers, leaving the Basement with a steep climb ahead.

Even in victory, the Rulers attempted to acknowledge the Workers’ efforts by offering to share their food as a reward. But the gesture did little to soothe the Basement, where the Workers felt their hard work had not been adequately appreciated and decided to keep the food for themselves. With frustration spilling beyond the task, Kajal Raghwani questioned Gautam’s contribution, while Gautam pointed towards Shehzad. Manish, meanwhile, took a stand for Kaira, urging Sara Gurpal and Kajal to recognise her efforts. Niharika and Anish also discussed what they perceived as Gautam undermining the women’s ability to perform. What should have been a moment to regroup after the task instead opened up another round of grievances, leaving the Workers divided over effort, recognition and who was truly pulling their weight.

Meanwhile, the Penthouse had its own shifting equations to contend with. Swara Bhasker appreciated Shehzad for standing his ground, while the clash between Tej and Manish continued to cast a shadow over the Tower’s power dynamics. Shehzad also shared his views on Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, describing her as temperamental and narcissistic, adding another layer to the growing list of rivalries inside the game. With the Prize Pot slipping away from the Workers, tensions rising between Tej and Manish, and resentment simmering across both floors, the fireworks may have gone phus, but the fallout is only beginning. As the gap between the Rulers and Workers continues to widen, who will find a way to turn their next move into a rise, and who will be forced into another fall?
