Palak Muchhal Fuels the Spirituality of Chhathi Maiya Song in the Running Hit ‘The Vvaan’ – Female Version OUT NOW

Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah starrer The Vvaan has placed itself as a raging hit at the theatres, continuing to create a rampage at the box office. The Vvaan celebrates the spiritual essence and cultural grandeur of one of the most celebrated festivals, Chhath, which takes center stage in Chhathi Maiya song. As the folklore fantasy spectacle continues to pull crowd to the theatres, the makers have released a female version of Chhathi Maiya song, brought to life by the celebrated singer, Palak Muchhal.

While the song has already emerged a chartbuster for paying an ode to the pride of Bihar, Palak Muchhal’s version fuels its magic several notches. In a humble attempt to bring Bihari pride of India through soothing vocals in the song’s female version, Palak Muchhal adds a new layer of faith and devotion to Chhathi Maiya track, released under Zee Music.

Meanwhile, The Vvaan continues to echo with love by collecting an excellent Rs.76.94 crore gross. Backed by some of the country’s most distinctive storytellers, The Vvaan brings together TVF’s Arunabh Kumar, director Deepak Mishra and Ektaa Kapoor for a commercial film that takes Indian folklore into a new cinematic space. While its world is rooted in folklore and fantasy, the film brings together adventure, mystery and humour to shape itself as a complete family entertainer. The ambition extends beyond the film, with The Legend of Vvaan comic book already introducing audiences to the larger folklore surrounding its universe.

Presented by Balaji Motion Pictures, a division of Balaji Telefilms Ltd, in association with TVF and 11.11 Production, The Vvaan stars Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah. Written by Arunabh Kumar and directed by Deepak Mishra, with Manu Anand as DOP and Visual Director, the film is produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Arunabh Kumar and Niraj Kothari.
