A Birthday Surprise, a Broken Bromance and a Basement on Fire: The Tower Faces a Dramatic Fall on Rise and Fall Season 2
Mumbai, India, 10th October 2026: With great power comes the responsibility to make difficult choices, and for Ultimate Ruler Shehzad Poonawalla, the time to decide who stays on top and who takes the fall has arrived. As the Fall Ka Farmaan takes effect, the Tower braces for a shake-up that puts friendships, loyalties and personal equations to the test. With Niharika Tiwari safe from this round, all eyes are on Shehzad as he prepares to make decisions that could change the game for his fellow Rulers.
In the Red Room, Shehzad’s first decision is to save Tej Pratap Yadav. The next two calls require him to choose between two groups of Rulers, each making a pitch to secure their place upstairs. First, Raj Grover and Swara Bhasker make their cases, but Shehzad ultimately sends Raj to the Basement, leaving the birthday boy with an unexpected gift. The next decision brings Gautam Gulati and Irina Rudakova into the equation. Despite sharing a friendship with both, Shehzad chooses to save Irina, sending Gautam downstairs instead. The decision leaves Gautam visibly displeased, while Tej questions Shehzad’s choice and Gautam accuses him of jealousy and insecurity. With Swara backing the Ultimate Ruler, a strategic call soon becomes a test of loyalty, leaving Gautam questioning where their friendship stands.
And if Gautam’s fall was not enough, his return to the Basement comes with a reception far from welcoming. The Workers are ready to greet him with anything but open arms, with old grievances waiting to resurface. Meanwhile, Shehzad attempts to clear the air with Gautam, insisting that he does not want their relationship to suffer. But when Tej’s remark about a possible romantic angle strikes a nerve, the conversation takes a sharp turn. Shehzad loses his cool and pushes Tej, prompting an angry response as Tej makes it clear that he will not tolerate the disrespect. Gautam tries to defuse the situation by insisting the remark was made in jest, but the confrontation leaves the friendship on even shakier ground. With accusations flying and tempers flaring, could Shehzad’s decision to save Irina end up costing him Gautam’s friendship? And with Sara Gurpal suggesting that Gautam and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary could find common ground against Shehzad, could this fallout give rise to an unexpected alliance?
Meanwhile, the Lift of Judgement opens, shifting the focus to the Workers’ fight for survival as elimination nominations begin. Shehzad names Priyanka, who gets the power to nominate another Worker and chooses Gautam. When Gautam’s turn arrives, he initially names Raj but changes his nomination to Kaira Anu after she makes it clear that she needs no one’s favour. Kaira then nominates Raj, who names Sara Gurpal, setting off another heated argument between Kajal Raghwani and Raj. By the end of the process, Sara and Manish Kashyap emerge safe, while the remaining Workers face the threat of elimination.
Back in the penthouse, tensions rise between Niharika and Swara after Swara sides with Shehzad over his earlier remark to Niharika, prompting the latter to ask her to stay out of it. Meanwhile, in the basement, Gautam gets disturbed by Kajal and Sara’s late-night conversation and decides to move his bed outside, but is eventually persuaded to return. Later, Kajal and Manish point out Priyanka’s apparent change in behaviour towards Gautam, leaving him questioning her intentions. With old rivalries resurfacing, fresh alliances on the horizon and the threat of elimination looming, who will manage to hold on to their place in the Tower, and whose journey on Rise and Fall Season 2 is about to come to an end?
