“I Will Die If I Am a Traitor”: Panic, Paranoia, Accusations & a Hooded Stranger Take Over The Traitors Telugu’s First Week
The palace doors have just opened, and trust is already wearing thin on The Traitors Telugu. As 20 celebrity players step into the ultimate game of trust, deception, and betrayal, suspicion is spreading fast, accusations are getting personal, and even the most confident players are finding it difficult to keep their composure. With a hooded mystery adding to the intrigue, physically demanding missions testing their mettle, and the Ring of Doubt turning up the heat, the first three episodes promise a game where everyone has something to prove, and no one can afford to let their guard down. As host Teja Sajja rightly puts it, “Here, Traitors will emerge as master manipulators and Innocents will rise as detectives.”
With accusations flying, the players are leaving no stone unturned to defend themselves. In a heated Ring of Doubt, Vidyu makes her frustration clear, saying, “If I’m suspected… I can’t act like a joker… I can’t do that 24×7,” while also declaring, “I will die if I am a Traitor.” Shravya, meanwhile, makes her position crystal clear, claiming, “I may be a lot of things, but I am not a liar.” Phalguni is equally quick to push back when questions arise, asking, “Am I stupid enough to murder him? Because I know it’s gonna come back to me.”
The tension does not stay confined to conversations. Outside the palace walls, the game turns grueling as physically taxing tasks push the players to their limits as they climb and haul gold bars, and try to keep their heads in the game. Elsewhere, Gaurav takes a sharp jibe at his fellow players, noting, “Kids are better than them,” while Sreedevi makes a pointed observation, “It’s so middle class,” adding to the growing tension.
There are shocking betrayals, brutal showdowns, a whole lot of drama, and this is only the beginning. After all, in this game, trust is a risk, and the outcome… always a twist!
Produced by SOL Production, The Traitors Telugu is now streaming exclusively on Prime Video in Telugu with English subtitles. New episodes drop every Thursday at 12 noon (IST).
