Chaos is brewing in the Mahadev household, and this time, it comes with a face that spells danger! The return of the formidable Bhanu to the world of COLORS’ ‘Mahadev & Sons’ is set to shake up family dynamics, with acclaimed actress Narayani Shastri stepping into the role of Bhanu. Known as a force to reckon with, Bhanu arrives with a chilling agenda – to destroy Rajji (Garvita Sadhwani) and Dheeraj’s (Aasim Khan) relationship and bring the Mahadev family to its knees. Making a dramatic entry during Dheeraj and Rajji’s wedding, she threatens Rajji with a sinister promise to ruin her life and marriage, setting the stage for a battle that could tear the family apart. While Dheeraj and Rajji vow to protect their loved ones and keep their families united, Bhanu is determined to dismantle everything they hold dear. And Bhanu’s plans are only getting more devious. When the Mahadev family decides to accompany the newlyweds on their honeymoon to Mumbai, their plans for a joyful getaway take an unexpected turn as they come face-to-face with Bhanu. The trip threatens to become a hotbed of confrontation, unsettling revelations and calculated moves. As she sets out to drive a wedge between the family members, Dheeraj and Rajji face the daunting challenge of keeping their loved ones together while Bhanu works relentlessly to pull them apart.

Sharing her thoughts about joining the show Narayani Shastri says,* _“I’ve never been an actor who plays it safe. When I look at a script, I’m not captivated by a character who is perfectly good or cartoonishly evil. I look for the grey, the mess, the real human stuff. That’s exactly why joining Mahadev & Sons was an immediate yes for me. The show is already a massive hit, which is fantastic, and it is an honour to be trusted with disrupting its storyline. Here is a character who is a sharp chess master, ensuring she is ten steps ahead. To play someone like that, you can’t judge them from the outside. As an actor, my first job is to find her ‘why’ and empathise with her. Bhanu believes she’s the hero of her own story righting a massive wrong. That absolute, unshakeable conviction is the emotional fodder I pull from every time the director calls action. I thank the audiences for showing so much excitement towards my entry on the show and hope to entertain them with everything I have.”_
