With Barely Any Marketing Push, the Film Trends on BookMyShow as Spiritual Leaders, Actors, Musicians and Community Voices Join Growing Audience Support

Mumbai, 9 August 2026: Hanuman Ansh has registered a sharp day-on-day rise following its theatrical release on 7 August, as growing word of mouth begins translating into stronger theatrical momentum.

For a film with barely any marketing push, the growth has been particularly striking. On Saturday, the number of people watching Hanuman Ansh rose to over 255% of its opening-day level, while the film’s NBOC climbed to 232.7% of Day 1.

For a film playing on a limited number of screens, the jump is particularly striking and points to growing audience-led momentum.

A similar word-of-mouth trajectory was seen with the Gujarati devotional film Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate, which began slowly in theatres before audience recommendations drove a significant surge in the weeks that followed, eventually turning it into a major sleeper success. While it is still early in Hanuman Ansh’s theatrical run, its sharp Day 2 growth offers an encouraging indication of how audience-led momentum can change the course of a small film.

Hanuman Ansh has also begun trending on BookMyShow, with audience ratings touching 10/10, adding another indicator to the growing traction around its theatrical run.

Centred on the life and path of Neeb Karori Baba, Hanuman Ansh has been finding audiences across children, Gen Z viewers, parents and families. Theatre reactions have seen parents speaking about watching the film with their children, younger viewers connecting with it, and families recommending the experience to others.

The response has also travelled into spiritual, cultural and community circles, with several voices encouraging their followers and communities to experience Hanuman Ansh in cinemas.

The outreach has brought together names including Acharya Pramod Krishnam; Swami Rangnath Ji of Sandi Ashram, Hardoi; Gopal Shastri Ji of Birla Hanuman Temple at Bela Road, Delhi; Lakshmi M. Bhatia; Giresh Vasudev Kulkarni of Temple Connect; Saikrishna Rajagopal of Saikrishna & Associates; Dr. Salim Khan of Little India Foundation; Ranjan Chopra of Team Computers; Madhu Sudan Agarwal of Haldiram’s; and Col. Hunny Bakshi, among others.

The film has also found support from the entertainment and cultural fraternity. Singer and actor Manoj Tiwari has urged audiences to watch Hanuman Ansh in cinemas, adding a significant voice to its growing word of mouth, particularly across Hindi and Bhojpuri-speaking audiences. The film has also received appreciation and support from Rishab Shetty, Adivi Sesh, Om Raut, Aanand L. Rai, Anand Tiwari, Manoj Muntashir, Pranitha Subhash, Meera Chopra and filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri.

Producer Namrata Singh, Founder of SacredIP, has also been travelling across Delhi and Uttar Pradesh as part of the outreach, meeting spiritual and community leaders. She has been joined by Lakshmi M. Bhatia, Chief Community Officer and core collaborator at SacredIP.

Namrata Singh said, “What is most encouraging is seeing people connect with the film and then speak about it themselves. We will continue taking Hanuman Ansh to different communities and strengthening this word of mouth.”

Writer-director Vishal Chaturvedi said, “The jump of over 250% is massively encouraging. I’ve always believed that a good film finds its audience, with or without massive promotion. Seeing that happen with Hanuman Ansh means a great deal to us.”

As Hanuman Ansh continues its theatrical run, the makers are looking to build on the growing audience response through word of mouth and support from spiritual, cultural, entertainment and community voices across the country.

Hanuman Ansh is written and directed by Vishal Chaturvedi and produced by Ragini S., Namrata G. Singh, Anupriya A. Nagar and Vishal Chaturvedi under Swambhu Media Network. The film’s music is with Times Music.
