Recalling a fan interaction that left a lasting impact, King B Chouhan spoke about how the film connected with a viewer on a deeply personal level.
“One reaction that truly touched me came after someone watched the film. He told me that his mother had suffered from cancer and sadly she is no longer with him. After watching the film, he became very emotional and said, ‘Finally someone has told our story. Finally someone has raised a voice about what is happening in Punjab because of the polluted water of factories.’ That moment stayed with me because it reminded me that cinema can also become a voice for people’s pain and reality.”
Malvi Malhotra, meanwhile, revealed that viewers have been particularly enjoying the chemistry between her character and Kalandar, along with the comic elements she brought to the role.
“Audiences are especially enjoying the chemistry between me and Kalandar in the film. They are also responding very positively to the humorous side of my character. I consciously tried to bring a bit of comedy into the role, and this was the first time I experimented with that aspect. It’s rewarding to see people laughing and connecting with those moments. I’m really happy with the response.”
