Prateeksha Srivastava unpacks the Confusion and Charm of Falling in Love in “Kaise Kahoon?”

Prateeksha Srivastava in her recent collaboration with Warner Music India has released “Kaise Kahoon?”, an upbeat pop-rock track that captures the beautiful chaos of having a crush and slowly falling in love. A continuation of her earlier release “Sajna Ve”, the new single takes the story forward, exploring what happens when chasing love gives way to the far more complicated experience of expressing it. With a punchy, high-energy production, energetic live drums, powerful vocals, and dynamic pauses, “Kaise Kahoon?” brings a vibrant sound to the emotional highs and hesitations of falling in love.

The accompanying music video presents a girl who has always been confident, outspoken, and unafraid to pursue what she wants. However, now that she has found love, she discovers that expressing her feelings is easier said than done. Speaking about the song’s conceptualisation, Prateeksha Srivastava says, “I’ve always found it funny how love works on the loudest people. Someone who says exactly what they think and suddenly can’t get three words out. That contradiction is what drew me to ‘Kaise Kahoon?’. I wanted to capture that beautiful, slightly ridiculous feeling of knowing exactly what’s in your heart but not knowing how to say it.”

With ‘Kaise Kahoon’, Prateeksha builds on the story of ‘Sajna Ve’, exploring the playful vulnerability of falling in love and the unexpected challenge of expressing your feelings once the chase is over.
