Ajay Devgn and Riteish Deshmukh Unite for an Engaging Talk as Raja Shivaji Registers a Thunderous Opening in Theatres

Jio Studios and Mumbai Film Company’s Raja Shivaji has stormed into the theatres. As the film begins its roar on the big screens, the audience was treated to a glimpse of a legendary conversation between Ajay Devgn and Riteish Vilasrao Deshmukh, symbolising the union of two undefeated historical warriors on-screen, Tanhaji and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, with the latter’s life and legacy being brought onto the screen by Riteish Deshmukh in Raja Shivaji!

In the glimpse, Ajay Devgn emphasised that the current generation is interested in superhero films, including Avengers, Superman and Spiderman. Describing the superhero film collection as “great in characters”, Devgn pulled focus on the real sacrifices endured by India’s historical warriors. Riteish Deshmukh, who describes Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj as the “first superhero”, adds that Raja Shivaji comes to life because it stems from his childhood fascination. In the video, the Tanhaji actor further praised Deshmukh’s passion towards the historical epic and expressed that nobody else could have been able to justify Raja Shivaji with the deep passion that he has. While the makers dropped a glimpse of their interaction, the full video is set to be out soon. Released in Hindi and Marathi, Raja Shivaji pays an ode to India’s one of the greatest warrior kings, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj!
