​The story of Barish Aur Tum traces back to a post-lockdown jamming session where lyricist Abhendra Kumar Upadhyay’s poetry instantly clicked with the team. Written and composed around the magic of rain and memories by composer Shashi Suman, the song took shape right on the piano. Reflecting on his immediate reaction when he first heard the track, Anubhav Sinha shared, “The very first line of this song’s opening verse was an absolute clincher for me… I completely fell for it right then and there.”

While Sinha humbly insists his role was minimal, the team revealed how his creative foresight completely transformed the composition, especially his persistent push for a unique humming sequence that added a whole new layer of calmness and emotional depth.
