Dulquer Salmaan’s ‘I Am Game’ To Release Worldwide On September 3; Film To Arrive In Five Languages
Dulquer Salmaan’s much-awaited action thriller I Am Game has been postponed from its earlier release date of August 20, 2026. The film will now arrive in theatres worldwide on September 3, 2026, with the announcement coming directly from Dulquer Salmaan’s official social media page.
Sharing the update, Dulquer acknowledged the anticipation around the film and stated that the new release date comes with a larger vision for I Am Game. The film is now gearing up for a wider theatrical release across markets, with the makers looking to give it the scale, reach and theatrical platform it deserves.
The film will also release simultaneously in five languages – Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada, taking the experience to audiences across the country and beyond. The multilingual release further adds to the film’s pan-India appeal.
Directed by Nahas Hidayath, I Am Game is being mounted on an ambitious scale and marks Dulquer Salmaan’s return to Malayalam cinema. The film completed an extensive 11-month shooting schedule spanning 156 days, with filming taking place across more than 100 locations in South India.
The film features an ensemble cast including Antony Varghese, Mysskin, Kayadu Lohar, Kathir, Parth Tiwari and Samyuktha Viswanathan. Jakes Bejoy has composed the music, while the action sequences have been choreographed by Anbariv Masters. The film is produced by Dulquer Salmaan and Jom Varghese under Wayfarer Films.
With I Am Game now set to release worldwide on September 3, the film is looking to make a wider theatrical impact across languages and markets. As the official announcement puts it, the wait gets a little longer, but the game gets bigger.
