Mahima Makwana And Vikrant Massey Recall Their Balika Vadhu Journey As They Reunite For Musafir Cafe

Actors Mahima Makwana and Vikrant Massey took a nostalgic trip down memory lane during the trailer launch of Netflix’s upcoming romantic drama Musafir Cafe, recalling their first collaboration on the popular television show Balika Vadhu nearly a decade ago.

Mahima shared that she first met Vikrant when she was just 10 years old on the sets of Balika Vadhu. Speaking fondly about her co-star, she said Vikrant hasn’t changed a bit over the years, calling him “the kindest, most hardworking and most genuine person.” She added that these qualities are reflected in his work and described him as an “amazing collaborator” and a “very giving actor.” Mahima also said reuniting with him for Musafir Cafe has been a wonderful experience.

Vikrant, too, recalled their time together on Balika Vadhu and shared that working with Mahima again after almost a decade feels amazing. He appreciated seeing her growth over the years and expressed his happiness at collaborating with her once again.

Based on Divya Prakash Dubey’s novel of the same name, Musafir Cafe is written and created by Sharanya Rajgopal and directed by Ruchir Arun. The romantic drama stars Vikrant Massey, Mahima Makwana and Vedika Pinto in lead roles and is set against the backdrop of Bhopal and Mussoorie. The series is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on July 24.
