TVF’s Arunabh Kumar Confirms The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest is NOT Delayed, Film to Release in Theatres on September 25
Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia starrer The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest is not delayed and will be released on September 25. Arunabh Kumar, the film’s writer, recently took to his social media handle to share insights from the film’s inception, involving Ektaa Kapoor.
Sharing BTS clicks with Kapoor on World Folklore Day, Arunabh Kumar wrote, “It all started with our mutual love for stories and temples…from visiting Sidhivinayak on Jan 1st, to Mukteshwar on Mahashivratri, to Mahakumbh & what not.. and we realised how rich our Indian culture is with so many incredible Folklores which are as much history as mythology.”
He further added, “When I shared her the story of the folklore of Vandevi Temple in Bihta…she immediately said this story needs to be told on the big screen…and went all out in giving it as big a canvas as possible. I feel there could not have been a better partner than EK & @balajimotionpictures for such a story.”
As per a report, the film required significant re-shoot and re-edit, and stated that the original direction team was replaced. It mentioned that the makers were not ready with the film’s final edit as the film required around 17 days of re-shoot. The report further claimed that Niraj Kothari and Sahir Raza were overseeing the edit, and were working closely under the direction of Ektaa Kapoor. However, Arunabh Kumar’s latest post comes as a clarification that the film is not postponed, and is releasing on September 25. Denying the reports of creative differences with Ektaa Kapoor and Balaji Motion Pictures, Arunabh has promised to share an asset of the film soon.
The film marks the coming together of Balaji Motion Pictures and TVF Motion Pictures, with Deepak Kumar Mishra directing the project. Starring Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia in the lead, the film. With its fresh release date now in place and a poster that has heightened curiosity across cinema lovers who cannot wait for this spectacle to hit the big screen!
