Two Emotional Exits, One Much-Anticipated Return and a New Power Play: Karan Patel Re-enters Rise and Fall Season 2

Mumbai, India, 16th October 2026: The Tower has seen its share of emotional farewells and unexpected turns, but just as Raj Grover and Kaira Anu’s exits left the house grappling with their departure, an unexpected homecoming changed the mood entirely. With Manish Kashyap breaking down as Kaira bid goodbye, the moment served as a poignant reminder of the bonds forged within the game. Karan Patel, the former Ruler whose exit had left the house visibly emotional, was back. His return was greeted with unmissable excitement, and with the game entering a new phase, could his comeback unsettle the existing power equations all over again?

The Rulers were tasked with deciding whether Karan would return as a Worker or reclaim his place in the Penthouse. The majority voted to welcome him upstairs, with Rishabh Jaiswal taking a different stance. Back among familiar faces, Karan soon reconnected with Niharika Tiwari, and their conversation quickly turned to strategy, with the two discussing how they could use Shehzad Poonawalla to their advantage. Elsewhere, Irina Rudakova confronted Shehzad over remarks that had left her feeling intimidated, eventually prompting him to acknowledge the misunderstanding and apologise. But while one equation found some resolution, another began to fray as Manish Kashyap and Gautam Gulati clashed over a joke. With the Workers also questioning Sonam Khan’s alignment with Gautam, the Tower’s personal equations were proving as difficult to navigate as its power dynamics.

Three weeks into the game, the familiar Penthouse-versus-Basement contest was due for a decisive reset. The latest twist, the batwara, split both floors into two teams, turning the Rulers against one another and setting up a fresh contest within the Basement. Under Ultimate Ruler Niharika’s watch, Shehzad, Swara Bhasker and Sara Gurpal formed one Penthouse team, while Karan, Irina and Rishabh made up the other. In the Basement, Gautam, Jashwant Singh and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary joined forces, while Sonam, Manish and Kajal Raghwani formed the opposing team. With the established divide dismantled, the contestants now faced a far more complicated game — one in which even those sharing the same floor could find themselves competing for power.

The new teams were then required to form alliances across the divide, putting their choices and loyalties to the test. Karan, Rishabh and Irina partnered with Gautam, Priyanka and Jashwant, while Shehzad, Swara and Sara joined Manish, Kajal and Sonam. The latter alliance soon encountered friction when Sara questioned Priyanka’s willingness to play. Priyanka maintained that the Workers had decided not to play for Gautam, but Sara accused her of lying, bringing the fractures within the Workers’ once-united front into full view. With Karan’s return adding a new dimension to the game and the reshuffle redrawing the lines of allegiance, the Tower’s second half is already taking a markedly different shape. Will the new alliances hold firm under pressure, or will old rivalries prove powerful enough to derail the game once again?
