Global sitarist Anoushka Shankar has recently wrapped the Chapters Tour 2026 in India, marking 30 remarkable years of celebrating music. Just mere days after her last performance in Kolkata, she achieved a global feat by becoming the first Indian musician and sitarist to grace the globally renowned mainstream show, The Graham Norton Show.
Anoushka appeared on the show alongside the beloved English virtual band, Gorillaz. In her latest post, she shared a clip from The Graham Norton Show, sharing her experience of performing ‘Orange Country’ alongside Kara Jackson. “Performing their song ‘Orange County’ – featuring @karakara and me – and chatting to Graham in front of such a gorgeous studio audience was so fun,” she wrote.
In addition to this, Anoushka also expressed ecstasy about featuring on The Graham Norton show merely days after “one of the most iconic performances of my life in Kolkata last weekend.”
Last week, Anoushka Shankar concluded Chapters Tour in India, and also performed with Arijit Singh on-stage.
