ShareChat & Moj’s Quick TV unveils its October slate, bringing a power-packed lineup of fantasy, revenge and thrillers
National, 16th October 2026: At a time when conversations around women’s rights, equality and the stereotypes that continue to shape women’s lives are increasingly finding space in mainstream discourse, QuickTV & Moj+, ShareChat’s microdrama platform, is bringing these conversations into its October storytelling slate. Leading the lineup is Kismat Wali Beti, a family drama that places a mother’s fight for her unborn daughter at the centre of its narrative, alongside a diverse selection of stories that explore women, relationships, family expectations, betrayal, dignity and the power to make choices for oneself.
At the heart of Kismat Wali Beti is Mehak, a pregnant woman whose family pressures her to terminate her pregnancy after illegally learning that she is expecting a daughter. The story goes beyond its fantasy premise to explore a deeply recognisable social reality: the expectations placed on women based on the gender of their unborn child and the pressure to conform to societal ideas of what a family should look like. Through Mehak’s journey, the show brings the mother-daughter bond into focus while questioning the stereotypes that continue to influence women’s choices and their place within families. The larger thought extends across the platforms’ October slate, with several stories placing women at the centre of conflict, transformation and emotional journeys.
In Patni Vs Maa, Garima, after spending 25 years sacrificing for her family, is abandoned and publicly humiliated by her husband when he returns seeking a divorce. Her journey becomes one of reclaiming her dignity and finding strength beyond the marriage she spent years protecting. Sauda Mohabbat Ka explores a different side of relationships through Ravina, who realises the value of her husband Mayank only after years of taking him for granted and watching him rebuild his life without her.
Similarly, Sangdil Sanam follows Trisha as the dynamics of her marriage change when the husband she has consistently underestimated reveals a completely different side of himself. The story explores betrayal, while these stories approach the subject from different perspectives, they collectively reflect a shift in how women and relationships are portrayed, moving beyond conventional ideas of sacrifice, dependence and societal expectations to explore agency, dignity, resilience and the consequences of choices.
Commenting on the growth of microdrama and the diverse slate for Moj and QuickTV this October, Alisha Panwar lead of Sauda Mohabbat Ka said,“Microdramas have created a very interesting space for storytelling because they allow us to explore strong emotions and high-concept stories in a format that is immediate and engaging. What I find exciting about QuickTV is the range of stories being explored and the way the format continues to grow. This October, I have three very different shows coming up and each one explores a completely different world and character dynamic. From relationships and betrayal to crime, action and even a post-apocalyptic setting, it is exciting to see how much can be explored within the microdrama format. I think this expansion is a great sign for both audiences and actors, because it is opening up more opportunities to tell unconventional stories and experiment with different genres.”
Commenting on his experience with Mahabali Rakshak, Rohit Chowdhary said, “What drew me to Mahabali Rakshak is the contrast at the heart of Shivansh’s character. He is someone everyone sees as ordinary and powerless, while he is actually carrying an extraordinary identity and responsibility. I think audiences connect strongly with characters who are underestimated and then get to see their true strength unfold. The microdrama format allows us to build these moments quickly and keep the audience invested through constant twists and revelations. It is also exciting to see platforms like QuickTV experimenting with fantasy and larger-than-life storytelling in a format that is so immediate and accessible to audiences.”
QuickTV’s October lineup also expands into fantasy, action and thrillers with Mahabali Rakshak, Pashu Samrat and Jaadugar Rajkumar, bringing stories of hidden identities, extraordinary powers and characters who are constantly underestimated before revealing their true potential.
The slate further includes Juwaari No. 1 and Gambling Ka Baazigar, which delve into the high-stakes world of gambling and its consequences; Pyaar Ka Countdown, which combines supernatural powers with romance and revenge; and Gangs of Gurgaon, a crime and revenge thriller.
With Kismat Wali Beti leading the October slate, QuickTV aims to bring stories that are not only designed to entertain but also reflect the changing conversations around relationships, family, gender expectations and individual choice.
*The new originals will premiere exclusively on Quick TV & Moj+ throughout October!*
