A guardian from the spirit realm wakes up in a humiliated son-in-law’s body, and a modern demon is already at the door.
QuickTV & Moj+, part of ShareChat’s parent entity, is bringing its new mythological-action microdrama, Narak Doot: Ghar Jamai, this Dussehra. The series stars Abhishek Saklani, Ramnitu Chaudhary and Saurabh Gumber. The story begins in the spirit realm. Maharaj Asur wants to live forever and wages war across the realms. The Narak Doot, the realm’s strongest guardian, steps in to stop him. But a clash with the Brahmastra goes wrong, and the Narak Doot’s soul is thrown into the mortal world.
He wakes up in the broken body of Aditya, a disabled “ghar jamai” who is mocked inside the wealthy Suryavanshi home. Aditya still remembers who he is. He soon sees that his wife Sanika and her family are being cheated by Dishant, a greedy man who plans to take their fortune and then kill them. When Dishant’s goons attack Sanika’s sister, Kritika, his hidden divine power breaks free. A golden warrior, inspired by Lord Vishnu’s Varaha avatar, rises from within him.
Abhishek Saklani says, “Dussehra is about good winning over evil. We wanted to show that fight inside an ordinary family home, where the demon smiles and sits at the dinner table. Aditya is hurt and mocked, yet he never stops being a protector. That is what drew me to him.”
The new originals are exclusively available on Quick TV & Moj+ starting October!
