This festive season, the laughter continues on Netflix’s The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 5. *The second episode of the season, premiering on Saturday, October 03 at 8:00 PM, welcomes the cast of The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest- Sidharth Malhotra, Tamannaah Bhatia, Shweta Tiwari, Anup Soni and Maniesh Paul*- for an evening packed with banter, candid conversations and a family friendly roast.
One of the highlights of the episode is Tamannaah Bhatia and Sidharth Malhotra’s appreciation for Kapil Sharma and Maniesh Paul’s unique brand of clean comedy. Calling them the original roast masters, Tamannaah shares how their humour has entertained audiences across generations. Adding to the conversation, Sidharth applauds the duo for their ability to roast people without offending anyone, calling it a rare skill. He also shares that ever since his first film, Student of the Year, every film promotion has brought him back to Kapil’s stage. On all the promotional tours, it is one stop he always looks forward to because of the fun and warmth on set. Kapil and Maniesh are at their comedic best, trading playful jabs and effortless one-liners that leave the audience in splits.
The laughs continue when Kapil jokes about Sidharth saying that his “Tamannaah” was finally fulfilled after getting the opportunity to work with Tamannaah Bhatia, whose work he has admired for years. Taking the banter a step further, Kapil cheekily jokes whether all these headlines left Kiara asking, “Ye media mein Ki-ara hai?” Prompted by the joke, *Tamannaah calls Sidharth and Kiara one of the country’s most loved couples, saying they are true couple goals* and look incredibly cute together.
Adding to the entertainment, Sunil Grover returns with his trademark antics in new avatars, while Krushna Abhishek and Kiku Sharda bring their signature humour to the episode, ensuring the laughs keep coming throughout.
