This Diwali, COLORS’ artists celebrate the spirit of love, gratitude and togetherness
Aishwarya Khare who plays Aarambhi in ‘Dr. Aarambhi’, says*, _“Diwali has always been special to me, but the way I celebrate it has changed beautifully over the years. As a child, Diwali was all about the excitement of new clothes, endless mithai, meeting friends and spending time with family. Everything was taken care of, and I could simply soak in the festive magic. I remember watching my mother organise everything so lovingly, from decorating the house to taking care of every little detail, and now I get to do that myself. One of the most special moments for me is Lakshmi Pooa. I have grown up watching my mother perform the puja with so much devotion, and today, getting to carry forward that tradition myself feels meaningful. The real magic of Diwali lies as much in the preparations as it does in the celebrations. There’s something incredibly satisfying about creating these moments for your loved ones, carrying forward family traditions and adding little touches of your own. This is what my character Dr Aarambhi is doing too – she’s taking charge of the celebrations. On behalf of everyone on the show, I wish everyone prosperity, love and light. May Goddess Lakshmi bless all your endeavours with success. Shubh Deepawali!”
Rahul Vaidya, who is part of ‘Dhamaal with Pati Patni Aur Panga – Jodiyon Ka Reality Check’, says,“Diwali has always been a special time of the year because it brings people closer and reminds us of the importance of love, family and togetherness. For me, the festival is not just about lighting diyas, decorating our homes or enjoying delicious festive food, but also about creating memories with the people who make our lives beautiful. I believe the true spirit of Diwali lies in spreading happiness, letting go of negativity and making an effort to bring a little more light into someone else’s life. In Dhamaal with Pati Patni Aur Panga – Jodiyon Ka Reality Check, we celebrate the many shades of relationships, where love, laughter and a little nok-jhok go hand in hand. In many ways, that is what makes every relationship special the ability to stand by each other, find joy in the little things and turn even the simplest moments into beautiful memories. This Diwali, I hope every home is filled with warmth, laughter and positivity, and that we all find more reasons to celebrate the people who make our lives meaningful. Here’s wishing everyone a very Happy Diwali!”
Arjun Bijlani, who is part of ‘Dhamaal with Pati Patni Aur Panga – Jodiyon Ka Reality Check’, says, _“It’s going to be a lot of fun to be celebrating Diwali on the sets of Dhamaal With Pati Patni Aur Panga. This is a time to welcome prosperity, express gratitude and celebrate the blessings that make our lives meaningful. While buying something new is a cherished tradition, I believe that true wealth lies in the love of our family, the support of our friends and the happiness we find in the little things. For me, the festive season is also about strengthening our bonds, creating beautiful memories and looking ahead with renewed hope and optimism. In a world where we are constantly chasing our goals, occasions like these are perfect to pause and appreciate what we already have. I hope every home is filled with positivity, every endeavour brings success and every family finds reasons to celebrate. May the year ahead bring good health, prosperity and countless new opportunities. Wishing everyone a very Happy Diwali!”
Daksh Puri, who plays Aarav in ‘Shayad Yahi Hai Pyaar’, says, _“Diwali is a celebration of light, but I feel its true significance lies in the hope it brings into our lives. It reminds us that no matter how difficult a phase may be, there is always the possibility of a fresh beginning and a reason to look ahead with positivity. I love how the festival brings families together, fills homes with warmth and gives us an opportunity to reconnect with the people who matter most. In Shayad Yahi Hai Pyaar, Aarav’s journey is about looking beyond expectations, understanding the emotions of another person and finding the courage to follow his heart. In many ways, I feel that reflects the spirit of Diwali too sometimes, all we need is a little light to see things differently and discover possibilities we may have never imagined. This Diwali, I hope we all learn to let go of what holds us back, embrace the people and experiences that bring happiness into our lives, and move forward with faith in what lies ahead. May the festival fill every heart with love, every home with happiness and every new beginning with hope. Here’s wishing everyone a very Happy Diwali!”
Tanvi Dogra, who plays Mannat in COLORS’ ‘Mannat Har Khushi Paane Ki’, says, _“Amid all the Diwali celebrations, Bhai Dooj holds a special place in my heart because it celebrates a bond that is irreplaceable. I see that reflected in Mannat’s journey as well. In ‘Mannat Har Khushi Paane Ki’, Mannat shares a very special bond with her brother Virat, who means the world to her. The fact that she is determined to run the dhaba named in his honour speaks volumes about how much their relationship means to her. It goes to show that the love between siblings goes beyond words and finds expression in the little things we do for each other. I feel that no matter how much life changes or how busy we become, the connection we share with our siblings remains special because it is built on years of understanding, friendship and unconditional support. Like every relationship, the bond between siblings has its share of arguments and disagreements, but at the end of the day, there is a unique kind of love that always brings us back together. This Bhai Dooj, I hope we all take a moment to cherish these bonds, create new memories and remind our siblings how much they mean to us. May every sibling be blessed with a lifetime of happiness, laughter, love and togetherness.”
Garvita Sadhwani, who plays Rajji in ‘Mahadev & Sons’, says, _“Diwali brings with it the beautiful reminder that the brightest celebrations are not just about the lights we illuminate our homes with, but also the love, warmth and happiness we bring into each other’s lives. While the festival is celebrated with diyas, rangolis, sweets and beautiful decorations, I believe its true spirit lies in spreading love, sharing happiness and making the people around us feel special. Festivals have a wonderful way of bringing people together, helping us reconnect with our traditions and reminding us of the values that make our relationships stronger. In Mahadev & Sons, family and relationships are at the heart of the story, and I feel that is something we can all relate to because our loved ones are often our greatest source of strength and happiness. This Diwali, I hope we all make an effort to spread kindness, forgive a little more easily and appreciate the people who stand by us through every phase of life. May the light of the diyas guide us towards hope, the warmth of our relationships bring us peace and the festive season fill every home with love and positivity. Here’s wishing everyone a very Happy Diwali!”
