Did Rashmika just leak the new song video from Cocktail 2 on her Instagram, after some beef with Kriti ?

After the success of Jab Talak, the makers of dropped their second track Mashooqa today. Featuring Kriti Sanon and Shahid Kapoor, the song seems like one made for a perfect sizzling summer romance with the sparkling chemistry of the leads, the addictive hook and some exotic visuals.

Interestingly, the release of Mashooqa came after a unique and exclusive listening event hosted on Sunday for media and fans. At the event, the makers unveiled not one, but two unreleased tracks from the film — Mashooqa starring Kriti and Shahid, and Tujhko featuring Rashmika Mandanna alongside Shahid Kapoor.

In an engaging twist, attendees were asked to vote for the song they wanted to see released first. Mashooqa emerged victorious with slightly more votes, eventually becoming the film’s latest release today.

Now clearly this didn’t go down too well with Rashmika – whose song Tujhko lost the race narrowly. And she made no qualms in hiding her emotions today on social media.

Soon after Mashooqa went live, Rashmika took to Instagram with a cheeky story, calling the voting “rigged” and saying that “most of the media were busy with work and couldn’t vote.”

Not one to stay silent, Kriti responded with a loaded dig of her own, posting a story saying :
“Mashooqa loves ripe mangoes and not sour grapes…IYKYK.”

And later in the day, Rashmika ‘accidentally’ leaked a video of her song Tujhko on her Instagram profile, with a short and sweet “ Oops” in the post. Fans of Rashmika were pleasantly surprised at this sudden leak, while others were left wondering whether this slip-up was something that she had planned all along.

Whether planned or not, one thing is certain — Cocktail 2 has managed to turn a song release into full-blown entertainment, and fans are absolutely loving every bit of this playful chaos.
