The world of COLORS’ ‘Doree’ turns upside down with Kashish Duggal entering as Maan’s long-lost mother

Just when Mother’s Day is a few days away, COLORS welcomes a mother who rises from the ashes of memory in ‘Doree’ starring Priyanshi Yadav in the titular role and Ishaan Dhawan as Maan Thakur. Celebrated for its emotional core and gripping storytelling, the beloved show is gearing up for a seismic shift as it ropes in powerhouse performer Kashish Duggal in the role of Meera Thakur, Maan’s long-lost mother. After Doree realises her feelings for Maan and dares to reclaim her place in his life, a betrayal threatens to tear them apart. Misled by the cunning Rajnandini, Maan rushes to judgment and throws Gangaprasad back behind bars—convinced he’s responsible for his mother’s “death”.

Yet, Doree’s instincts scream that something doesn’t add up. Determined to prove Ganga’s innocence, Doree embarks on a perilous quest only to uncover the secret that Maan’s mother, Meera Thakur is alive! At this jaw-dropping juncture, Kashish Duggal enters the show as Maan’s mother, but she isn’t the warm, nurturing figure Maan remembers.
