After Dhurandhar Success, Arjun Rampal Prepares for Hansal Mehta’s Series ‘Billionaire’, Igniting Curiosity if He’s Playing Vijay Mallya or Lalit Modi

Ace filmmaker Hansal Mehta recently announced his next OTT series Billionaire with Arjun Rampal as the lead, and it has ignited a wave of speculation. Billed as a gritty story of a powerful tycoon. The series is already hinting at connections to some of India’s most controversial business personalities.

Vijay Mallya seems to be a choice whose life could make it to the screen adaptation. From his moniker as the ‘King of Good Times’ to his lavish lifestyle and his rise to the peak by erecting a business empire of his own, Mallya’s trajectory ticks all the boxes of becoming a screen adaptation. The next possibility could be that of the mastermind Lalit Modi, the former IPL Chief, credited for shifting the landscape of cricket entertainment before being pulled down in controversy. Sources say that the series could incline more towards his power networks and boardroom clashes.

Interestingly, social media buzz indicate that the series could weave threads from several real-life personalities to create an even more powerful tycoon, shaping up as a safer route, all while still keeping the curiosity alive.
