All Eyes on Seher’s Wedding as Tensions Rise on COLORS’ ‘Seher Hone Ko Hai’

The lights are lit, the mehendi is fresh, and the guests have gathered, but this is a wedding built on pressure, not choice. On COLORS’ Seher Hone Ko Hai, Seher (Rishita Kothari) is pushed toward a nikaah she never chose. Trapped by her father Parvez, who locks away her mother Kausar to break her resolve, Seher finds herself cornered with no way out. Her groom-to-be, Mahid (Parth Samthaan), steps into the wedding believing it is destiny, unaware that the truth has been buried and Seher’s voice has been silenced. As music plays and rituals unfold, the celebration hides a disturbing reality, one where control takes centre stage and freedom becomes the real fight.

Just when the tension reaches its peak, chaos brews. Nazima plans to stop the wedding using a deadly snake, while Husna Phupi arrives from Aligarh, furious that Mahid is marrying Seher instead of Nazima. Having raised Mahid after his mother’s suicide, her words carry power and her disapproval hangs heavily over the ceremony. With every move watched and every door closed, Seher takes a final risk. She secretly reaches out to Dr. Fareed, hoping to bring her mother to the venue and escape before the final vow. As secrets clash and loyalties are tested, the wedding teeters on the edge of disaster. Will Seher break free from a marriage built on fear, or will fate trap her before the nikaah is complete?
