After the success of their digital venture Ankahee, filmmaker Vipul Amrutlal Shah and Sunshine Pictures are continuing to engage viewers with their weekly crime thriller series, Bada Jurm Choti Kahani. Led by Sanjay Upadhyay (Creative Head of Sunshine Digital), the AI-assisted show delivers gripping, realistic short crime stories every Thursday on Sunshine Pictures’ official YouTube channel. Moving forward from the suspense of previous episodes, the team has now released its fourth episode, titled File 4: Tandoori Nights.

The makers shared the episode alongside this caption: “One tandoori order. One suspicious night. And a secret that changed everything. Bada Jurm, Choti Kahaniyan File 4: Tandoori Nights”

The new episode opens with the murder of Ankita inside her sea-facing Mumbai apartment. At first, her husband Karan appears completely free of suspicion. Travel records, hotel check-ins, and CCTV footage clearly show he was away in Delhi during the crime, providing him with a seemingly safe alibi. However, what looks like an open-and-shut case begins to get tricky. Investigators spot glaring inconsistencies between call logs, hotel receipts, and local food delivery details, specifically an order for tandoori chicken placed in Navi Mumbai while Karan’s phone was active miles away. As police piece together the timeline, they uncover a meticulously calculated conspiracy involving hidden motives, manipulated alibis, and unexpected betrayals.

Tandoori Nights combines atmospheric suspense with modern digital investigation tactics, showing how even the most carefully constructed lie can be exposed through small, everyday details. With grounded performances and sharp narrative twists, Sunshine Pictures continues to craft engaging short-form crime thrillers, leaving audiences looking forward to the next mystery.
