Shriya Pilgaonkar is having a September moment like no other.
With Mirzapur: The Movie opening to a resounding response at the box office and her performance as the much-loved Sweety Gupta receiving love from audiences, Shriya is now gearing up for the release of Haiwaan starring Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan.

The latest BTS stills from the Haiwaan song present Shriya in a strikingly glamorous avatar, offering audiences a glimpse of a side of the actor they haven’t seen in quite this way before.  The style, glam quotient, sassy looks and the fact that the actor looks undeniably hot is the reason enough to instantly fall for this song. The song excites fans, gives a glimpse into the world of Haiwaan and creates curiosity into Shriya’s character in the film.
The BTS drops come at an interesting time, just as audiences are celebrating her in one theatrical release, they are getting introduced to a completely different version of her in another.

From Sweety Gupta in Mirzapur to Kashaf Quaze in Guilty Minds, Madhu in Taaza Khabar, Radha in The Broken News and Rukmini in Mandala Murders, Shriya has consistently chosen characters that occupy completely different worlds. Her performances across streaming have earned her the much-deserved reputation of being the ‘OTT Queen.’ Right from her Debut, actor has steadily built a filmography that shows her ability to distinctly adapt a character and make it her own leaving lasting impact for fans and audiences

That versatility is also visible in the contrast between her 2 September releases. In Mirzapur: The Movie, Shriya returns to Sweety Gupta, a cult character that audiences have followed and loved over the years. The recently released teaser had already reignited excitement around the franchise, and the film’s strong opening has now given the actor another moment in the spotlight. Just a week later, Haiwaan presents a very different opportunity. Directed by Priyadarshan and featuring Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan, the thriller puts Shriya in a larger commercial cinematic space, a rarity for any actor to have two major releases within such a short span.

Shriya shared “What’s exciting about Mirzapur and Haiwaan is that the looks and characters are completely different. While I’ve filmed songs before and have 2 songs in Mirzapur too, this is my first full-scale, glamorous Bollywood number, so it was a really exciting experience and different from the ones I shot for Mirzapur. Its a perfect Bollywood dance sequence where we have Saif, Akshay, me and Saiyami in the song and we totally had a blast. The energy on set was palpable, it was choreographed by Bosco. As an actor I always wanted to be part of a song like this and I hope audience enjoys as much as I did filming it”

After becoming one of the most credible faces of the streaming generation, she is now demonstrating that an actor’s range can extend across mediums without being defined by any one of them.
And the momentum continues beyond September. With Vir Das’ Baara Number, a horror film directed by Vir Das, already announced, Shriya’s theatrical slate is taking shape alongside the strong body of streaming work she has built over the years. The OTT Queen has arrived on the big screen, and if September is any indication, Shriya Pilgaonkar is here to rule it.
