Source Shuts Down Rumors of Aamir Khan’s Approaching for a Role in Dhurandhar Franchise, Denies Any Talk: “No Such Discussions Have Been Made by Aamir Khan or his Team”
Amid growing speculation around one of Bollywood’s most acclaimed actors, Aamir Khan’s alleged involvement in the film, Dhurandhar, including claims that he was offered multiple roles and had even approached casting director Mukesh Chhabra, a source close to the actor has firmly dismissed the reports. Setting the record straight, the source clarified that there is no truth to these rumors and that Aamir Khan was neither approached for any role nor did he reach out to any member of the film’s team.
Calling the speculation completely unfounded, the source shared, “The news of Aamir Khan being approached for Ajit Doval’s character in Dhurandhar or Aamir reaching out to casting director Mukesh Chabbra is absolutely untrue and baseless. No such discussions have been made by Aamir Khan or his team with director Aditya Dhar or the casting director.”
While the source has firmly set the record straight with a strong statement, on the professional front, Aamir Khan is gearing up for his next big project under Aamir Khan Productions, titled Ek Din. The film marks a highly anticipated reunion with filmmaker Mansoor Khan after a long hiatus, bringing back one of Hindi cinema’s most celebrated creative collaborations. The trailer has already sparked significant excitement among fans and industry circles alike, with many looking forward to witnessing their magic on screen once again.
Produced under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions, Ek Din stars Sai Pallavi and Junaid Khan. The film is directed by Sunil Pandey and produced by Aamir Khan, Mansoor Khan, and Aparna Purohit. The film is set to release in theaters on 1st May 2026.
