COLORS’ stars celebrate the meaning of family this International Day of Families
Krushna Abhishek from COLORS’ ‘Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment’, shares,“Laughter has always been the loudest constant in my family. No matter how tough the times, we’ve always found a reason to smile together and that, I believe, is the greatest gift a family can give. I feel that same warmth with my Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment family. The show has given Kashmera and me the joy of spending time together, creating a delightful chaos, pulling each other’s leg, and simply having a blast while working. It’s special to know that what we create brings families closer and fills homes with laughter. This International Day of Families, my heartfelt thanks go out to the audience who love us and embrace us as one of their own.”
Sudhanshu Pandey, who essays the role of Baldev in ‘Do Duniya Ek Dil’, shares,“Family has always been the strongest pillar in my life. No matter how busy life gets, coming back home to my wife and my two sons instantly brings me peace and happiness. I never take for granted the little moments we spend together, whether it’s having meals as a family, watching movies, travelling, or simply sitting and talking about our day. Being a father has changed me in the best possible way. My sons have taught me to be more patient, understanding, and emotionally aware. I always try to make sure that I am there for them and create memories they will cherish forever. I’ve often wondered what it would feel like to be a girl dad too. And through Do Duniya Ek Dil, I got the blessing of being a reel father to Aadhya, played by Rachi Sharma. Playing Baldev and sharing that beautiful father-daughter bond onscreen has been incredibly special for me. Whether it’s a son or a daughter, the emotion of a parent’s love, care, and protectiveness always remains the same. Here’s wishing all the families out there happy memories!”
Ayesha Singh, who essays the role of Mannat in ‘Mannat Har Khushi Paane Ki’, shares,“I feel very fortunate to have a family that has always stood by me like a rock. No matter how busy or overwhelming life gets, there’s a kind of comfort in knowing that there are people who will always cheer for you, protect you, and remind you who you are. My brother, especially, has been my biggest support system. The reason I connect so deeply with ‘Mannat Har Khushi Paane Ki’ is that it beautifully captures the idea that families are built on love, trust and acceptance. No family is perfect, but the bond and emotional security they give you become the superpowers that help you to sail through the uncertainties of life. I think in today’s fast-moving world, we sometimes forget to express gratitude to the people who hold us together. On the International Day of Families, I just want to celebrate those bonds and thank my family for being my happy place.”
Shakti Anand, essaying the role of Mahadev in COLORS’ ‘Mahadev & Sons’, shares, “Family is life’s biggest blessing. In an industry where schedules are unpredictable and life moves at a hectic pace, having people who love you unconditionally become your greatest strength. My wife Sai and my daughter are the centre of my world. Becoming a father changed me in so many ways. I found myself loving this bundle of joy with the kind of intensity that was unknown to me. I’m never done being amazed by the fabulous job that Sai does as the one who runs the household and takes care of things that matter to us as family. My daughter and wife make me want to be a better family man every day. That’s what I have in common with my character Mahadev from ‘Mahadev & Sons’, which beautifully explores the love that holds everything together even during difficult times. I think families are not about fitting into your roles perfectly; they are about showing up for one another despite differences and challenges. On the International Day of Families, I feel immense gratitude for the people who have stood by me through every phase of life.”
