‘He doesn’t bring his stature or status to the set’, Subodh Bhave Praises Prabhas’ Humility and Warmth on Fauzi Sets
India’s biggest superstar Prabhas is admired not just for his larger-than-life screen presence but also for his humble nature off screen. Now, Marathi actor Subodh Bhave, who is all set to make his Telugu debut with Prabhas’ much-anticipated film Fauzi, has opened up about his experience of working with the superstar and praised the warmth and affection he brings to the sets.
Subodh Bhave, who will be portraying the iconic freedom fighter Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose in Fauzi, had nothing but praise for his co-star. The actor revealed that, “On the sets of ‘Fauzi,’ though he is a very big superstar, he brought a lot of warmth and love. He was very cool. He made the other actors comfortable on the set. Anupamji (Anupam Kher) was there as well. I shot a scene with Anupam ji and Prabhas, which was special as I got to work with two big names. Prabhas is a fantastic human being. Despite being a big superstar, he doesn’t bring his stature or status to the set. We shot very comfortably.”
Subodh’s words offer a glimpse into the atmosphere on the sets of Fauzi and highlight a side of Prabhas that his fans have always admired. His warmth and generosity towards co-stars were also evident recently when he made Imanvi Esmail’s birthday special. The actor surprised his Fauzi co-star with an elaborate home-cooked food spread featuring biryani, kebabs, curries and desserts. Imanvi shared glimpses of the feast on social media and expressed her gratitude, writing, “Heart and stomach forever full. Thank you Prabhas Garu.” The gesture offered yet another glimpse into the superstar’s thoughtful nature and his efforts to make his co-stars feel special.
With Prabhas headlining the film and an interesting ensemble coming together, Fauzi has already generated considerable curiosity.
