Komal Nahta, one of India’s most respected trade analysts, is back with a fresh season of his podcast Game Changers: The Music Series. This edition shines a spotlight on celebrated singers, composers, and music maestros as they share their creative journeys, inspirations, and the untold stories behind the music that has shaped generations. The latest episode featured Himesh Reshammiya.

A multi-talented force in Indian entertainment, Himesh Reshammiya has delivered countless chartbusters over the decades as a composer, singer, and actor, establishing a unique musical legacy. During his candid conversation on the show, he spoke about director Mohit Suri’s understanding of soundtrack alignment, sharing, “Mohit Suri is great when it comes to music and films because he syncs his heroes’ body language with the music. If you take any Mohit Suri song and use it in another music video featuring the same actor, it will not match, and you will lose the emotional connect.” He further continues, “It is very important for a composer to have the kind of knowledge my dad had. ‘Woh vision hona chahiye jo Laxmikant–Pyarelal ji ka hota tha.'”
