Actor and National Award-winner Vikrant Massey is taking his passion for meaningful storytelling beyond acting with his production ventures, Musafir Cafe and Homemade Stories. With Musafir Cafe’s success establishing its presence as a creative space for stories that connect with audiences, Homemade Stories marks another step in his journey towards championing independent and distinctive narratives. Built around the belief that good stories do not need unnecessary embellishments, the venture reflects Massey’s vision of creating content that resonates with audiences. As an actor who has consistently explored diverse characters and narratives, his move into production brings a natural extension of his creative sensibilities.

Speaking about the creative philosophy behind Homemade Stories and the kind of stories he hopes to tell, Vikrant Massey said, “I wanted to tell stories that resonate with people without complicating matters. My motto has always been, less is more. Cut the frills, the superfluous, and just keep it as simple as possible.”

Elaborating on the genres and storytelling formats the production house would explore, Massey believes in remaining open to possibilities rather than confining the venture to a particular space. He said, “There are certain strengths every creative has, but I would not want to restrict myself to them, because it’s an ever-evolving market. The idea is to go out there and tell good stories that are worth people’s time and money.”

With Homemade Stories, Massey hopes to create a space for honest, engaging and diverse storytelling while continuing to evolve with the changing entertainment landscape. On the acting front, the National Award-winning actor will next be seen in White.
