Neha Shitole Turns Writer for Devmanus starring Mahesh Manjrekar, Renuka Shahane and Subodh Bhave

Actress Neha Shitole, known for her memorable roles in popular Marathi TV shows, movies, and web series, has added another feather to her cap by stepping into a new role — this time as a writer. After previously penning Hindi dialogues for the South Indian film Sitaramam, Neha has now taken the lead in writing the highly anticipated upcoming Marathi film Devmanus, set to release on April 25.

Directed by Tejas Deoskar, Devmanus stars Mahesh Manjrekar, Renuka Shahane, and Subodh Bhave in key roles. It is produced by Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg’s Luv Films.

Thrilled to don the writer’s hat, Neha shares, “I have always been very passionate about writing and crafting the screenplay and dialogues for Devmanus gave me the perfect opportunity to dive deep into it. Since Devmanus is a thriller with a strong emotional connect, capturing the right feelings at the right moments was essential and as an actress, I was able to connect with these varied emotions on a deeper level.”

She adds, “I’m truly grateful to Luv Films for believing in me and to Tejas Deoskar for his unwavering support. Writing Devmanus has been a golden opportunity and this journey has been both challenging and incredibly rewarding, especially working alongside such a talented team.”

A Luv Films Presentation, Devmanus is directed by Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar and produced by Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg. The film is set to release theatrically on 25th April 2025.
