COLORS’ ‘Dr. Aarambhi’ stands up against evil, evoking naari shakti during Ganeshotsav
As the festive spirit of Ganeshotsav takes over, the celebrations on COLORS are set to take a dramatic turn as two women find themselves battling very different forms of injustice. While Mannat (Ayesha Singh) ‘Mannat – Har Khushi Paane Ki’ faces condemnation over her husband and the choices surrounding him, ‘Dr. Aarambhi’ (Aishwarya Khare) finds herself confronting betrayal and cruelty by her husband, Vishwas. Yet, amid the chaos, an unexpected bond emerges – one that puts naari shakti at the heart of the festive season. Refusing to let her turmoil consume her, Aarambhi extends a hand to Mannat, underlining that women need to stand by one another when the world chooses to stand in judgment. And for Aarambhi, the fight turns even more intense when she discovers Avantika is using her daughter with Vishwas as a pawn to secure her place in the Tandon family. Will Aarambhi emerge as a force that puts an end to Avantika’s manipulation?
Aishwarya Khare, essaying the role of Dr. Aarambhi says, “I thank Bappa for all the love that has been pouring in for Dr. Aarambhi. What makes this festival especially meaningful for Aarambhi is that she is confronting the ‘vighnas’ in her own life, but she refuses to let her pain make her indifferent to someone else’s struggle. When she sees Mannat being judged and condemned, Aarambhi chooses to stand beside her and reminds her of the power she possesses as a woman. For me, that is what naari shakti means – not just fighting your own battles, but having the courage to hold another woman’s hand when she needs it. I think viewers will see Aarambhi’s naari shakti take on a completely new meaning as she moves from supporting another woman to fighting a battle that threatens everything she holds close.”
Watch ‘Dr. Aarambhi’, Monday-Friday at 8:00 PM only on COLORS and JioHotstar.
