“It’s Not a Request, It’s My Right” Manisha Rani Goes to War for the Captaincy

The 50, the most unpredictable reality show to hit Indian television is streaming on JioHotstar and Colors, and the house is already at war.

The Lion put it out there; the house needed a captain. And before anyone could even think about who it should be, Manisha Rani had already decided it was her. She wasn’t campaigning; she wasn’t asking. She knew what she wanted, and she’s not about to pretend otherwise.

Not everyone agreed. The players made their disapproval known, saying they’re not in favor of this, but Manisha didn’t flinch. She wasn’t there to campaign or convince or win people over. “It’s not a request. It’s my right,” she said, and that was that. The house, of course, has other feelings.

Not everyone saw it that way. Not everyone saw it that way. Rajat didn’t hold back, making his stance known by saying, “Ghar mein hain log jinko sirf victim card khelna hota hai.”

Rajat’s words clearly hit a nerve; bringing Manisha to tears. She’d had enough. She would rather go home than stay with a team this selfish.

And then she said what she needed to say “Manisha Rani hoon, aur Manisha Rani banke rahungi.”

The 50 streaming on JioHotstar at 9:00 PM and airing at 10:30 PM on Colors.
