The day is finally here with Aditya Dhar’s most-awaited film, Dhurandhar The Revenge, storming in cinemas. Headlined by Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan and Sara Arjun among others, the film has opened to positive reviews and is already on its way to breaking records! Among many aspects, the biggest monster chunk of Dhurandhar The Revenge is the mega showdown between Ranveer Singh’s Hamza Ali Mazari and Arjun Rampal’s deadly ISI Major Iqbal.

The audience’s expectations have been high in terms of the lethality that Arjun Rampal would bring. And undoubtedly, the actor has soared past all of them! For a film that’s nearly four hours long, Arjun Rampal unleashed cold dread in each frame. You see him sporting a crew cut, smoking a cigar, flashing his golden tooth and getting head-to-head with Singh’s Hamza Ali Mazari. Every punch is landed. Every stare is felt. Every dialogue does its job.

On one hand, Rampal is known for his expressive acting skills, but this time, he sets THE standard for becoming a dreadful and chilling villain Bollywood has seen in a very long time.

Not once does Rampal allow you to see the actor that he is. Infact, he wears ISI Major Iqbal to perfection, letting his cold dread take over the screens and speak for itself. His controlled restraint is what adds to the thrill with co-stars, especially the roaring enmity between him and Ranveer Singh. Every kill in the film is unique, every villainy shot in the film speaks for itself, thanks to Rampal’s ability to disappear behind the character. The moment he enters the frame, all you can think is ‘It’s begun again!’

All in all, Dhurandhar The Revenge is a movie you’d want to watch the moment you get the chance. Aditya Dhar has done it again by delivering a spectacle that can be devoured best on the big screens.
