Kunal Kapoor is basking in all the love coming in for his convincing portrayal as Lord Indra in Nitesh Tiwari’s grand cinematic epic, Ramayana. As the film continues to pull the crowd to the theatres, Kunal took to his social media handle to share a few BTS clicks of him as the God of Gods, and also penned a warm note to thank the filmmakers for letting him be a part of the spectacle.
Kapoor thanked filmmakers Namit Malhotra and Nitesh Tiwari for trusting him with the heavyweight character, Lord Indra, and letting him be a part of the world of Ramayana with an expansive vision. He also thanked casting director Mukesh Chhabra for seeing Lord Indra in him and bringing him onboard the film.
“Watching this film come together taught me what happens when people refuse to dream small, and then have the conviction to actually build that dream, brick by brick, frame by frame, with an extraordinary amount of love, passion and belief,” he wrote in his latest post.
He also extended heartfelt gratitude to the entire cast and crew, technicians, makeup artists, costume designers and “everyone who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this world come alive. So much goes into creating something of this scale. Every little detail matters, and you can feel the love and dedication that has gone into it.
