COLORS’ ‘Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment’ springs a sweet surprise by serving pani puri to its crew

This week, COLORS’ ‘Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment’ served up a triple-decker thali of fiery competition, zodiac-inspired flavours and celestial creativity. As always, the kitchen was piping hot and the banter was sizzling! For the first time ever, the celebrity contestants had to put their culinary chops to the real street test—by making pani puri. But this wasn’t just any golgappa gig— they had to plate six perfectly shaped puris, pack them with chatpata pani, and nail a sweet-meets-tangy mitti chutney that could make or break their star rating. And with a ticking clock and the pressure to pop puris with precision, even the coolest in the lot were left in a crunch. But the drama wasn’t limited to the kitchen! Krushna pulled Karan’s leg over his ever-pending wedding plans, while Bharti grilled him about avenging his “girlfriend’s loss” from another show by bagging the most stars here. Karan, ever the sport, declared himself ever-ready for revenge (in the form of stars, of course!).
In a delicious twist, host Harpal announced that this time, it’s not the judges but the Laughter Chefs crew — the silent warriors behind the scenes — who would taste the dishes. Instead of stars, celebrity contestants would now earn hard cash. With only 15 minutes on the clock to prep, plate, and persuade, the kitchen turned into a full-blown food fair, and the gulaks jingled with cash. The jodis hustled hard with their charm turned up to high flame, trying to earn every last rupee for their dish. Because at the end of the day, the one with the fullest gulaak wins the coveted star and the bragging rights.
In the next challenge, audience members became the new food critics, tasting a dish called hare bhare bites, packed with at least three green veggies, fried to golden brown glory, and arranged with taste and tenderness. The presentation was key, but taste ruled the galaxy. Speaking of galaxies, things got unpredictable when celebrity astrologers Sakshi and Sandeep Thakur arrived, bringing kundalis for all the contestants and the unique challenge of preparing a donut solar system. Blending astronomy and artistry, the celebs had to recreate our solar system on a plate. From the blazing sun to Neptune’s icy cool vibes, each donut had to be arranged in planetary order, looking and tasting out of this world. As Sakshi and Sandeep revealed each celebrity contestant’s fate, jaws dropped, and laughter erupted. To find out whose kitchen ka karma is in retrograde and who was favoured by lady luck, watch the upcoming episode!
