Rohit Shetty encourages a fearful Jasmine Bhasin by performing a high-voltage stunt himself on COLORS’ ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’

For years, Rohit Shetty has been the blockbuster icon has been pushing the khiladis to confront their biggest fears. But on this season of COLORS’ ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’, viewers will witness him stepping into the arena of stunt for the very first time. The high-voltage moment unfolds during an electric maze stunt, where the contestants have to navigate their way through a maze while battling powerful electric currents. When Jasmine Bhasin finds herself overwhelmed by fear and struggles to take on the challenge, Rohit does something rarely seen on the show – he enters the stunt zone himself and takes on the challenge assigned to her. The man who has spent season after season telling contestants, now finds himself on the other side of the equation, taking the electric current head-on. Known for his super hit action-packed films and no-nonsense approach to fear, Rohit leads by example, but will his gesture be enough to help Jasmine overcome her fear?

That, for me, said so much about the kind of mentor and host he is. He is a pookie host in every sense – he can be this master of stunts one moment and then have this incredible patience and warmth when a contestant is struggling to face a challenge. I really appreciate that the fact that he went this far to make me believe I could perform the stunt too.”
