“Walking into Lock Upp felt special because I’ve been following the show, and even my son was excited that I was going inside! Harshad and I go back a long way.

We started our journeys together. I’ve seen him evolve tremendously over the years.

While there’s still a bit of the reserved Harshad in him, I truly believe he’s much stronger today. Once you’ve owned your truth and your secrets are out in the open, there’s nothing left to hide and that gives you immense strength. I wanted to remind him of that and encourage him to play with confidence because, after his re-entry, he’s definitely stepped up his game. It was also great catching up with the other inmates, sharing my perspective, and, of course, having some fun along the way.

As for my favourites, I’d say Varun, Shreya, Harshad, Akanksha Chamola, and Ram.”
