Lage Raho Munna Bhai follows the story of a Mumbai gangster Munna Bhai, who falls for radio jockey Jhanvi, played by Vidya Balan, and pretends to be a history professor specialising in Mahatma Gandhi. With its perfectly balanced blend of comedy, emotions, romance and a meaningful storyline,it struck a deep chord with audiences and became a massive box office success. The film was powered by memorable characters, brilliant performances and iconic dialogues, while Rajkumar Hirani’s storytelling added another gem to his filmography.
The cast also featured Boman Irani, Jimmy Shergill, Dia Mirza and others.
