Dulquer Salmaan’s Aakasamlo Oka Tara Locks November 20 for Theatrical Release

Dulquer Salmaan’s much-awaited Aakasamlo Oka Tara is set to arrive in theatres, with the makers announcing November 20, 2026 as the film’s worldwide theatrical release date.

Directed by Pavan Sadineni, the Telugu film has been one of Dulquer Salmaan’s much-anticipated upcoming projects. The film pairs him with debutant Satvika Veeravalli, while Shruti Haasan playing a pivotal role in the film. Shruti’s involvement was announced earlier this year, with the makers unveiling her first look from the film on her birthday.

The film was first announced in July 2024 and is being produced by Sandeep Gunnam and Ramya Gunnam under Lightbox Media, with Swapna Cinema and Geetha Arts presenting the project. Pavan Sadineni is directing the film, with G. V. Prakash Kumar composing the music.

Aakasamlo Oka Tara marks another Telugu outing for Dulquer, following his successful association with the language and audience through films such as Sita Ramam and Lucky Baskhar. The film is also being mounted as a multilingual project, with releases planned across Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi.

With the release date now locked, the makers are expected to begin the next phase of promotions, with further updates from the film’s world anticipated in the coming weeks.
