Ahead of the show’s August 2 premiere, JioHotstar and Colors have unveiled the official Bhojpuri Bawaal Anthem, a high-energy musical spectacle that celebrates the pride, passion and larger-than-life spirit of Bhojpuri entertainment. Bringing together some of the industry’s biggest stars, the anthem offers audiences their first vibrant taste of the world, swagger and cultural pride that define Bhojpuri Bawaal.
Mounted on a grand, larger-than-life scale with premium visuals, striking choreography and infectious beats, the anthem is more than just the show’s title track, it is a celebration of a culture that has entertained millions for decades and is now stepping confidently onto the national stage.
From “Laikey Purab ke swagger” to “Aim kari world capture”, the Bhojpuri Bawaal Anthem proudly wears its identity on its sleeve. The lyrics celebrate the confidence, resilience and ambition of the Bhojpuri community, while the visual treatment mirrors the scale and flamboyance of the stars who have come together for the series.
Featuring Pawan Singh, Nirahua, Aamrapali Dubey, Kajal Raghwani and Tej Pratap Yadav, the anthem blends music, dance and larger-than-life performances to introduce audiences to the vibrant universe of Bhojpuri Bawaal. What excited me most about the Bhojpuri Bawaal Anthem was its authenticity. The brief wasn’t to recreate Bhojpuri music, it was to celebrate it. I wanted the anthem to retain its rawness, pride and infectious energy while giving it a contemporary sound that could resonate with audiences across the country.
