Komal Nahta, one of India’s most respected trade analysts, is back with a fresh season of his podcast Game Changers: The Music Series. This edition shines a spotlight on celebrated singers, composers, and music maestros as they share their creative journeys, inspirations, and the untold stories behind the music that has shaped generations. The latest episode featured Sonu Nigam.

With an illustrious career spanning decades, Sonu Nigam remains one of India’s most versatile and beloved musical artists. Known for his effortless vocal range, discipline, and electrifying stage presence, he has captivated audiences across the globe for generations. Opening up about the intense drive behind his endurance on stage, Sonu talked about an extraordinary milestone at one of the world’s most prestigious venues: “I’ve done three-hour shows, and then, just two hours later, I performed another three-hour show. I did that at the Sydney Opera House- one three-hour afternoon show and another three-hour evening show on the very same day. I was able to do that because there’s a lot of fire inside me. And within that fire, there’s anger. There’s compassion. There’s hard work. There’s consideration. That fire needs to exist. The important thing is that I’m using it the right way. That’s what matters, I haven’t let it consume me or make me irrational. In fact, when I was a child, I used to have a very bad temper.”
