Kunal Kemmu’s VIBE Powers Past Madgaon Express, Opens at ₹2.25 Cr on Day 1

After Madgaon Express, Kunal Kemmu’s latest directorial VIBE has now released in cinemas, opening to a strong response from audiences. The much-awaited action comedy, which had generated buzz with its trailer promising a mix of chaos, action, humour and unexpected twists, has recorded a Day 1 collection of ₹2.25 Cr, surpassing the opening day numbers of Kemmu’s previous directorial Madgaon Express.

The film, which also saw audiences vibing to its energetic track “Aisi Meri Vibe”, has brought its brand of madness and humour to the big screen. On Day 1, VIBE collected ₹2.25 Cr net at the box office, marking a stronger opening than Madgaon Express. The film has been receiving a positive response from audiences for its mix of comedy, action and entertainment.

Written and directed by Kunal Kemmu, VIBE is produced by Kunal Kemmu and Chirag Nihalani under the banner of Drongo Films in association with Amazon MGM Studios. The film stars Kunal Kemmu alongside Preity G Zinta, Sparsh Shrivastava and debutant Vanshika Dhir in lead roles. VIBE, an Amazon MGM Studios film, released in cinemas on September 18.
