“She hadn’t auditioned for my film,” reveals Kunal Kemmu while sharing about Vanshika Dhir’s casting in VIBE!

Amazon MGM Studios has unveiled the much-awaited trailer of its upcoming high-stakes action comedy VIBE, headlined by Kunal Kemmu. Following the massive buzz around the teaser, the makers have now raised the stakes with an explosive and power-packed trailer that promises a thrilling ride filled with chaos, action, humour, and unexpected twists. While the film also stars Vanshika Dhir, Kunal Kemmu revealed how he noticed her during another film’s audition and decided to cast her in VIBE.

Kunal Kemmu reveals that he noticed Vanshika Dhir during another film’s audition and cast her for her ability to nail both Hindi and the accent. Revealing about the interesting casting process for Vanshika, Kunal said, “Vanshika hadn’t auditioned for my filmy but when Mukesh who is doing the audition process was playing some others, i think she had auditioned for another film and i was looking for an actor who naturally had a bit of an accent but could speak hindi also, some were putting an accent and couldn’t speak hindi without an accent but when i saw her mujhe laga ye sirf hindi karti hai so i asked her about and asked Mukesh to audition her for my film so that really worked and when i met her, i remember she spoke shudh hindi and and then spoke hindi without an accent, mujhe laga ye gadbad ho gayi, so then i asked her and she put on that accent very well, thats how it started and when we rehearsed she really fit my character well.”

Written and directed by Kunal Kemmu, VIBE is produced by Kunal Kemmu and Chirag Nihalani under the banner of Drongo Films in association with Amazon MGM Studios. It stars Kunal Kemmu alongside Preity G Zinta, Sparsh Shrivastava, and debutant Vanshika Dhir in lead roles. VIBE, an Amazon MGM Studios film, hits theaters on September 18.
