Filmmaker Abhishek Pathak Celebrates as Drishyam Clocks 11 Years, Describes the Film as a Part of His Life
It’s been 11 glorious years since Ajay Devgn starrer Drishyam cast an impression so strong that it continues to live rent-free in the minds of the audience even today. Abhishek Pathak, who served as the film’s producer under Panorama Studios alongside Kumar Mangat Pathak, looks back at the journey through a heartfelt post on his social media.
Sharing a few clips from the 2015 cult release, Pathak wrote, “11 years of Drishyam. Some films become milestones, but a few become a part of your life. Drishyam has been both for me.”
He further expressed gratitude towards the formidable cast as well as the visionary director, late Nishikant Kamat. “Forever grateful to Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav, Rajat Kapoor, Kamlesh Sawant, my father Kumar Mangat Pathak, and most importantly, the late Nishikant Kamat. Thank you to our incredible team, and above all, to the audiences who have loved, believed in, and stood by Drishyam for the last 11 years.”
“As we celebrate this journey, I’m filled with gratitude and excited for what lies ahead,” he concluded, sparking excitement and curiosity around the third installment of the blockbuster franchise. Abhishek Pathak sits on the director’s chair for Drishyam 3. The film’s shoot has been wrapped and is currently in its post-production stage.
