“Hold Your Breath! Star Plus Unveils A Dramatic New ‘Taara’ Trailer Packed With Love, Fate And A Major Twist”
Star Plus has always brought refreshing, heartwarming love stories to television, stories whose characters and emotions quietly find a permanent place in our hearts. Once again, the channel is ready to present another soulful romance with Taara, starring Krushal Ahuja as Yuvraj and Kanikka Kapur as Taara. The makers recently dropped a new promo, and it has already begun creating a stir among viewers. In just a short glimpse, it beautifully captures the innocence, depth, and complications of Yuvraj and Taara’s bond.
The promo opens in the past, when they were children. Little Yuvraj lovingly places a garland around Taara’s neck, calls her his best friend, and showers her with flower petals as their families watch with smiles and laughter. Cut to the present. Taara is at a temple, offering petals to the idols of Krishna and Radha. The pandit hands her a garland and tells her to pray with it so she may find a good husband. As she walks away, Yuvraj suddenly holds her hand, takes the garland, and playfully puts it around his own neck. When Taara questions him if he understands its meaning, he gently removes it and places it around her neck instead, saying, “You are only mine.”
But reality soon interrupts romance. Taara reminds him of the harsh truth, her family works for his, and there is a vast class difference between them. Before she can say more, Yuvraj stops her and says love is not defined by class, only by the heart. Just then, his father calls him. In an instant, Yuvraj lets go of Taara’s hand. His father announces that his marriage has been fixed with Saina, and the family begins celebrating. In a heartbreaking moment, Taara’s mother hands her sweets to distribute. Taara walks up to Yuvraj, offers him one, and says softly, “Badhaai ho, Maalik.”
The question lingers: Will societal status and class differences tear them apart? Will Yuvraj ever openly confess his love for Taara before his family? Or will their love and promise finally find its way back to them?
